Reunion GuestbookWow! We were all so busy that first weekend in October. Hope we had a chance to meet (and hug) all 700 of you. Thanks so much for all the kind comments and notes and e-mail! Here's another opportunity to share your comments about the 1998 Harbour Lights Collectors Reunion. Although we all enjoy receiving your kind comments, we really learn from the most hearing how we could improve in the future. Please tell us what you really think because we will read and ponder each and every response! Thank you. Add to the 1998 Reunion Guest Book We enjoyed ourselves very much. Everyone was so friendly and it was especially fun to put faces to many of the names whose personalities had emerged on various internet forums and chats over the last few months. Sorry we didn't get to speak with even more HL collector family members. Rich & Kim Boyes <JRBoyes@aol.com> Fairport, NY USA - Wednesday, November 04, 1998 at 19:12:11 (PST) Just finished putting together our 1998 Harbour Lights Reunion photo album. There were so many great memories and friends made that week its hard to name them all. Larry and I had such a wonderful time and can't thank all those who worked so hard to make it happen. The Youngers and their exteded Harbour Lights family put together a terrific reunion. I only wish everyone could have been there to share in the fun and festivities. Also a round of applause goes out to John Chidester for all his hard work putting together the lighthouse tours pre and post reunion. The trip to Portland Head and Nubble was the ultimate high for me. Can't wait to do it again!! Kat Waterson <llwaterson@ctlnet.com> Auburn, IN USA - Wednesday, November 04, 1998 at 17:22:50 (PST) I finally had the opportunity to meet in person all the wonderful people I have come to know on the 'net. Not once was I disapointed with any of the encounters, but more amazed at the friendliness of everyone. A special thanks to John, Paul, Kim, Maureen, and Becky. We had an absolutely wonderful time. We are patiently awaiting the next "gathering". Rod Watson <rwatson@neo.lrun.com> Akron, Oh USA - Saturday, October 24, 1998 at 05:36:50 (PDT) What a treat to come to the Harbor Lights web site and find all this fun info from the 1998 reunion. We are so thankful to the Youngers and all the Harbor Lights crew for putting their heart and soul into making this a fantastic event. We met many new friends and look forward to meeting more of you at the next reunion. Can't wait!!!! Jerry & Sandy Posey Jerry & Sandy Posey <sposey@ties.k12.mn.us> Champlin, MN USA - Friday, October 23, 1998 at 16:16:26 (PDT) A heartfelt thanks to the Younger family and the Harbour Lights staff for making us
feel at home. It was great making new friends, wish we could have had more time getting to
know everyone. You sure know how to throw a party! We had a wonderful time and what a way for us to
spend our 15th wedding anniversary. Looking forward to the next family reunion and seeing
all of you again and meeting new members of the Harbour Lights Family. It was GREAT! Thanks to Bill, Nancy, Kim, Maureen, Becky and all the Harbour Lights
Staff. Meeting everyone was fantastic. Thanks for a super time. It was great to finely put not only faces, but also family together with those of
you that I have talked to for so long. All of you that I met, have fulfilled my every
expectation of what I perceived you to be.. Now I really feel like family. Hopefully,
these internet relationships that we have will always be the same. It is fun to put a face finally with the people with whom I have been chatting
on the Internet for a year or so. I really enjoyed using my cameras to capture a little
bit of the flavor of the event for John and Harbour Lights. We can't wait for the next
reunion and the adventures it will bring to us. I had a great time seeing old friends from last year and meeting new ones! Thanks to
each of you. See you next time! [../../../site/styles/footer.htm] April 06, 2001 |
