2001 Collectors Family Reunion:By The NumbersHere are the numbers from the 2001 Collectors Family Reunion. We're working on determining the exact figures - which we should be able to do by 10/31/01. The symbol ~ indicates an approximate number.
Approximately 850 each of the four Reunion thumbnails were produced. The remainder, if any, will be distributed by Bill Younger. For those who prearranged to have Harbour Lights ship their HL640 Hooper Strait MD lighthouses directly to their homes, these have now been shipped. Charitable Donations Through the Opportunity Drawing and the Collector Auction, more than $40,000 was raised for charitable purposes. 50% of these funds will be donated to the Red Cross on behalf of our collectors for use in helping the individuals and families touched by the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The balance will be split among the lighthouses being supported by Harbour Lights Collector Clubs. Special Logo Items Harbour Lights produced two acrylic block
items which were first shown and sold at the reunion. These are CR101 - NY
Skyline. This piece shows the Statue of Liberty in the foreground and the
skyline of NY in the background. It was sold for $20 each at the Reunion
with $10 of this cost again going to the Red Cross in support of 9-11
charitable needs. ~212 were sold at the Reunion; The remaining ~88 pieces
are available for purchase directly from Harbour Lights at $25 each, with
$10 of the purchase price going to Red Cross charities. (This item does
not include a logo of the Reunion; it may be purchased by anyone.) The second acrylic block item pictures landmarks of the Baltimore Inner Harbor with Seven Foot Knoll lighthouse in the foreground. ~500 pieces were produced. This item also features the Reunion logo encased in the block. Price is $20. 500 were produced. We don't yet have a count on how many were sold at the reunion; remaining items can be purchased directly from Harbour Lights by those who attended the Reunion. Special
clothing items including a navy blue
sweater ($35) and polo-type shirts ($25) in crimson, navy and butter. Some
remaining items are available directly from Harbour Lights while supplies
last. (The sweater will be reordered; most sizes were sold-out at the
Reunion.) A white Teddy Bear was available for sale at the Reunion for $10. Quantity produced TBD; this item did not have an HL product number. Items remaining may be purchased by those who attended the Reunion directly from Harbour Lights while supply lasts . For items purchased directly from Harbour Lights, shipping charges will be added. Items shipped to California addresses will include California sales taxes.
